Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some of the ways we share information with insurance partners and advertising platforms may count as a "sale" or "sharing" under the privacy laws of certain states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and others. This page explains how to opt out and what other rights you have.

How to opt out

Email with the subject line "Privacy Request". Tell us the name, email address and phone number you used on this site so we can find your record. We will confirm your request within 15 business days.

To stop calls and texts right away, reply STOP to any text message we send you.

Your rights

Right to know. You can ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we shared it with.
Right to delete. You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to exceptions the law allows, such as records we must keep to prove consent.
Right to correct. You can ask us to fix information that is inaccurate.
Right to opt out. You can tell us not to sell or share your personal information, and not to use it for targeted advertising.

Authorized agents

You may have someone submit a request on your behalf. We will ask for proof that you gave them permission and may ask you to confirm the request directly.

No discrimination

We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or treat you differently because you exercised any of these rights.

Verification

To protect your information, we match the details in your request to the details in our records before we act on it. If we cannot verify your identity we will tell you why.
