1. Not an insurer

Family Mortgage Shield is an independent insurance marketing service. We are not an insurance company, we do not provide quotes, and we do not bind coverage. Any policy is issued by a licensed insurance carrier through a licensed agent, subject to that carrier's application, underwriting and approval process.

2. Illustrative figures only

The coverage target shown on your plan page is a simple calculation based on the answers you gave us: your monthly payment multiplied by the number of months you chose, or your stated remaining balance. It is not a quote, an offer of insurance, a statement of eligibility, or a promise that any coverage amount is available to you. Availability, coverage amounts and pricing are determined solely by a licensed carrier.

3. Contact consent

By submitting the questionnaire you consent to be contacted about insurance products as described in the consent statement on the final step, which includes calls, texts and emails that may be automated or prerecorded. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, unsubscribing from an email, or telling the agent who contacts you.

4. Eligibility to use this site

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use this site. You agree that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

5. Availability

Our services are not available in all states. Where we are unable to help you, we will tell you, and we may keep your details so we can let you know if that changes.

6. No advice

Nothing on this site is financial, legal or tax advice. Talk to a licensed agent about your situation before making any decision about insurance.

7. Intellectual property

The content, design and code of this site belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them without written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on any figure shown on it. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to this site is limited to one hundred US dollars.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
